About CloudCost
CloudCost is an independent, multilingual cloud pricing confronto project. Our mission is simple: make cloud costos transparent so that every team — from solo developers to enterprise procurement departments — can choose the right provider for their carico di lavoro without spending days deciphering pricing calcolatores.
Our Mission
Cloud pricing changes frequently and is published in dozens of regioneal currencies and sconto models. The result is that most teams either over-provision out of caution or pick a provider out of habit and never revisit the decision. CloudCost exists to surface equivalent services side by side, in plain language, in 24 languages, so that the costo conversation can happen with real numbers instead of assumptions.
How We Build Comparisons
Every confronto on CloudCost follows the same methodology:
- Identify equivalent services — we match istanza types by vCPU, memory, and local archiviazione so that the confronto is apples-to-apples.
- Pull published list prezzos — we reference the official pricing pages of each provider for the us-east-1 / West US 2 / us-central1 regiones as a baseline, and note regioneal variations where they matter.
- Include sconto programs — we show on-demand pricing first, then indicate where riservata istanzas, savings plans, or committed-use scontos materially change the picture.
- Flag caveats — we call out differences in included features, such as free egress tiers, that affect the total costo of ownership.
Independence and Affiliates
CloudCost is editorially independent. Pricing shown is for reference only and may change; always verify on the official provider website before purchasing. Some links may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them, but this never influences which providers we cover or how we rank them.
