About CloudCost

CloudCost is an independent, multilingual cloud pricing comparatie project. Our mission is simple: make cloud costs transparent so that every team — from solo developers to enterprise procurement departments — can choose the right furnizor for their sarcina de lucru without spending days deciphering pricing calculators.

Our Mission

Cloud pricing changes frequently and is published in dozens of regiuneal currencies and reducere models. The result is that most teams either over-provision out of caution or pick a furnizor out of habit and never revisit the decision. CloudCost exists to surface equivalent services side by side, in plain language, in 24 languages, so that the cost conversation can happen with real numbers instead of assumptions.

How We Build Comparisons

Every comparatie on CloudCost follows the same methodology:

  1. Identify equivalent services — we match instanta types by vCPU, memory, and local stocare so that the comparatie is apples-to-apples.
  2. Pull published list prets — we reference the official pricing pages of each furnizor for the us-east-1 / West US 2 / us-central1 regiunes as a baseline, and note regiuneal variations where they matter.
  3. Include reducere programs — we show on-demand pricing first, then indicate where rezervata instantas, savings plans, or committed-use reduceres materially change the picture.
  4. Flag caveats — we call out differences in included features, such as free egress tiers, that affect the total cost of ownership.

Independence and Affiliates

CloudCost is editorially independent. Pricing shown is for reference only and may change; always verify on the official furnizor website before purchasing. Some links may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them, but this never influences which furnizors we cover or how we rank them.
