O CloudCost

About CloudCost

CloudCost is an independent, multilingual cloud pricing srovnani project. Our mission is simple: make cloud naklads transparent so that every team — from solo developers to enterprise procurement departments — can choose the right poskytovatel for their zatez without spending days deciphering pricing kalkulackas.

Our Mission

Cloud pricing changes frequently and is published in dozens of regional currencies and sleva models. The result is that most teams either over-provision out of caution or pick a poskytovatel out of habit and never revisit the decision. CloudCost exists to surface equivalent services side by side, in plain language, in 24 languages, so that the naklad conversation can happen with real numbers instead of assumptions.

How We Build Comparisons

Every srovnani on CloudCost follows the same methodology:

  1. Identify equivalent services — we match instance types by vCPU, memory, and local uloziste so that the srovnani is apples-to-apples.
  2. Pull published list cenas — we reference the official pricing pages of each poskytovatel for the us-east-1 / West US 2 / us-central1 regions as a baseline, and note regional variations where they matter.
  3. Include sleva programs — we show on-demand pricing first, then indicate where rezervovana instances, savings plans, or committed-use slevas materially change the picture.
  4. Flag caveats — we call out differences in included features, such as free egress tiers, that affect the total naklad of ownership.

Independence and Affiliates

CloudCost is editorially independent. Pricing shown is for reference only and may change; always verify on the official poskytovatel website before purchasing. Some links may be affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them, but this never influences which poskytovatels we cover or how we rank them.
